Katie Willmorth, a Shakespeare Festival cast member, was enthusiastic about what live theater offers young people. “In our culture today,” she said, “people are told Shakespeare will be hard to understand and when you tell someone that, that it’s inaccessible, they will see it that way.”

“If we do our job, they will understand (the play) better than they thought ... rather than approach it with apprehension or fear,” she added.
